The House in the Cerulean Sea is a wonderful wholesome book written by Tj Klune, a brilliant writer. The story started with Mr. Linus Baker, who is a casewoker of DICOMY or Department in Charge of Magical Youth. He was tasked of a very classified assignment. To go stay for a whole month in an orphanage and observe 6 "problematic" children and the house master Arthur Parnassus. He was unprepared and shocked but what could go wrong in an orphanage full of classified persons. They are just children, right? This book was what I needed. It was a light read, great storytelling, wonderful use of words, and something that touched my heart. It brings me back to being a child. It was nostalgic and refreshing. I recommend it to people who want a short escape.
