Self is an Accumulated Learning

There came a point in our lives where we asked ourselves, "Who are we?" and failed to fully know ourselves. This leads us to make bad decisions and have failed relationships with others. As humans, it is critical to understand ourselves as we grow into the people we want to be.      The self is a repository of knowledge. It is the idea that all of a person's knowledge from childhood to the present defines him.The knowledge a person gains from his environment as he grows up is important in defining him.As such, everything that is learned from family, school, neighborhood, and society will have an impact on a person. What a person sees or hears is processed by the mind and learned as a result, and it sometimes becomes mindlessly a part of that person. These beliefs, teachings, values, and knowledge instilled in a person's mind will define that person because they are the foundation built in him. For instance, a person who was born into a rich household is differ

The House in the Cerulean Sea Review

The House in the Cerulean Sea is a wonderful wholesome book written by Tj Klune, a brilliant writer. The story started with Mr. Linus Baker, who is a casewoker of DICOMY or Department in Charge of Magical Youth. He was tasked of a very classified assignment. To go stay for a whole month in an orphanage and observe 6 "problematic" children and the house master Arthur Parnassus. He was unprepared and shocked but what could go wrong in an orphanage full of classified persons. They are just children, right? This book was what I needed. It was a light read, great storytelling, wonderful use of words, and something that touched my heart. It brings me back to being a child. It was nostalgic and refreshing. I recommend it to people who want a short escape.

A Review on the Book "Where The Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens is a story about Kya Clark, dubbed as the " Mash girl" in their town. It tells how she bravely survived in a cabin all alone and how her life intertwined with two boys from her town. Honestly, I relate to Kya. I am an introvert and I have my own world that I enjoy very much It is an exquisite book that contains thrill, love and poetry. The storytelling of the writer is comprehensible and very vivid. I like how it made me clueless on what will happen next, I clearly didn't expect the ending. I recommend this book especially, to young adults readers. It is a good book that can make you feel different emotions.

A Review on the Book " The Absolutely True Diary of a Part - Time Indian by Sherman Alexie

The Absolutely  True Diary of a Part - Time Indian is a young adult novel by Sherman Alexie. Its main character is Junior who born with water on the brain and an Indian living on a reservation. In the book, Junior narrates his story, on how he was bullied, persuaded by his teacher to transfer school, fitted in in his new all-white school, and struggled to bring back the trust of his best friend. This book was fun to read because of the way the writer delivered the story and accompanied by adorable illustrations. I was really hooked of Junior's life, his culture, lifestyle, thoughts and decision in life. Honestly, I am impressed by him, that no matter how bad the situation is, he still have a positive outlook and continued his life without delving in the past. He proved that no matter how disabled, unskilled, poor, and unlikable you are, you can still make the best out of life.   I really relate to Junior because I am too, is raise in and now struggling in poverty, but still I fight

My 2021 Realizations Before 2021 Ends

The year 2021 gave me the time to be on my feet again. It gave me hope to continue thriving and make the best out of life. Year 2022 is near yet, I am still processing 2020. I know most of us are. Year 2020 was hard. A lot of things happened and most things didn't go as planned. My 2020 was heartbreaking that I was depressed for most months. I didn't have a great connection with my family and friends that year. My dreams were shattered. Everything that I was preparing for the past years were wiped in an instant.  I blamed myself for that. If I were been cautious or acted more decisively, everything should have been different. However, time flies and it don't care if you're not ready yet. It will go on and you have to face everything, both the consequences of your past and the urgency of the present. I realized, life is harder when you're an adult. Everyday you need to make decisions and take responsibility in everything you do unlike with children, everything is up

A Young Adult's Review of the book "The Path of Prosperity" by James Allen

I was looking for a new book to read when I stumbled to this one. The title poked my interest. I thought, Hey, I'm 19 and it would not be bad to read more serious genre. I am not a bookworm, but sometimes I read books to pass time and mostly are fictions. As a troubled young adult in my new phase  in life, I longed for guidance that my parents can't barely give, so I settled to a less hassle alternative, reading books. Reading "The Path of Prosperity" is very overwhelming. I can't hardly recall any phrase from the book. I guess it was too much for me but I did finish it in two days. However, I believe that I need to reread it to fully understand the context of the book. In this blog, I will be sharing to you my thoughts about the book as a novice in reading and writing as well.  It was a great book. There was a lot of ideas that can put you to think deeply and unfamiliar words to make you grab a dictionary. It was really knowledgeable book where you can gain idea
